The Ares Expedition is more compact than its big brother or sister, both in size and playing time, but gives you a similar gaming experience with slightly changed mechanics. It is a standalone game set in the Terraforming Mars universe. As the heads of influential companies, your goal is common: to make the red planet habitable by building oceans and increasing temperatures and oxygen levels. But everyone strives to achieve this by gaining the most Terraforming Rating along the way. This requires smart planning of which raw materials to produce to get the most out of the available project cards.
A successful terraformer needs an organized toolbox, so we designed our Ares Organizer to help you on your missions. The natural wooden components and thematic carvings will not only enhance your table appearance, but also enhance your game box and reduce set-up and clean-up time.

About the publisher Laserox

Laserox was started by a number of students who came into contact with board games during their studies and were immediately drawn into this wonderful world. It quickly became a passion, but they encountered the major problem of storing and sorting the large diversity of parts and setting up and cleaning up a game often took far too long. That led to the idea that there had to be a better solution for storage, preparation and clean-up.

Because they had worked with laser cutters before and had used quality plywood, this quickly emerged as the sturdy yet flexible material to make organizers from.

Once their work became known, they soon received a lot of positive feedback and enthusiasm. The next step to look at production possibilities was taken. Combining craftsmanship and passion for games ensured that Laserox was founded in 2017. Since then, many organizers have been developed, as well as other useful tools, and the end is not yet in sight.
