Expansion of the popular laying game Carcassonne

The circus travels around the Carcassonne area and wherever it pitches its tent, meeples flock to it. You try to place your meeples near the circus tent to earn extra points, depending on a face-down animal token under the tent. You can now also use your meeples as an artist and earn 5 points each during special scoring. Ringmasters are regular meeples, but get extra points if they do their work in the immediate vicinity of the circus or performers.

In combination with the basic game, this expansion can be played with a maximum of 5 players, but with Cathedrals and Inns, another player can participate.

We recommend only combining this expansion with the latest basic game of Carcassonne from 2016 for the best playing experience, but The Circus can also be played with the old basic game and the expansions. The tiles have a new style of drawings, but the backs have remained the same.
