In the board game Cóatl, the appointment of the new Aztec high priest is approaching. Contenders for the position participate in a prestigious tournament to impress the gods. Create the most complex and elegant Cóatl sculptures (a Cóatl is a feathered serpent) to win and obtain the coveted title of Aztec High Priest.
During the game, players create Cóatls by connecting head, body, and tail pieces that meet the conditions of the prediction cards they wish to fulfill. The more prediction cards a Cóatl fulfills, the more points it scores. A Cóatl can also earn bonus points by fulfilling the conditions of one of the temple cards. The game is over when a player has completed their 3rd Cóatl, or when the supply of hull parts is exhausted.
The players compete to score as many points as possible by creating valuable Cóatl sculptures. At the end of the game, the player with the most points is declared the winner.
