Lead your tribe to glory on the island of Dokmus and become a legend!

Dokmus is a board game for 2-4 players. Your goal is to lead an expedition to the island of Dokmus, the ancestral god of your tribe. The island is represented by eight double-sided map pieces. When setting up the game, you randomly choose which side of each piece of card is up and place them in a 3×3 grid so that the center spot remains empty.

The island is guarded by five guards, who are represented by guard cards. On each turn, players draw the guard cards so that each player gets the help of one guard. The guard cards determine the order of the turn and also give you special powers. With these cards you can move and rotate, move your playing figures or be the first to act.

When it is your turn, you can use three playing figures. You use playing figures to spread your influence by placing them on the board. You can also sacrifice playing figures to cross water or enter a forest. Or you can simply sacrifice them in a volcano. At the end of the game you receive victory points for discovered temples and ruins on the map and for sacrificed playing figures.

The layout of the islands constantly changes due to the players' actions, making Dokmus a dynamic and fast-paced game. So choose your guard, make the right sacrifices and win the favor of Dokmus!
