Etherfields is a narrative, cooperative game for 1 – 4 (5 with the 5th player expansion). A series of unique Dreams wait to be discovered through tense exploration and tactical encounters.
Learn about the Dreamers, their forgotten past and their desperate mission. Discover the surreal, vast dreamscapes. Just don't be surprised if – as dreams often do – they become a little unsettling… Prepare for a challenge with escape room-style riddles. Find a clue in the image. See a hidden connection between different pieces of information. Use both your instincts and your logic.
In the beginning you explore the Dream World and try to figure out what this is all about and who you are – and you are there for a specific reason, but at first you can't remember much. You will have to recover your memories from scattered pieces.
The rules are quite simple at first, but become increasingly complex as the campaign progresses. New rules open up new possibilities and can sometimes turn everything upside down.
Deckbuilding in Etherfields applies to almost every deck in the game, not just the players'. If you want to know more, enter the Dream World. It may be dark here and there, but it is certainly not gray. Then look around and ask yourself: what if we were all living in a big, shared dream?
