The popular strategic board game Euphrates & Tigris is now also available as a card game. Players place leaders from four different categories on civilization cards, located in one of eight kingdoms. Placing civilization cards earns points.
Only one leader of the same color may lie in each of those kingdoms. If that does happen, it will lead to a fight, either due to an internal or external conflict. The winner receives points in the color of the conflict. The players try to score as many points as possible in the four different colors. Whoever has the most points in their weakest color wins the game. Successful author Reiner Knizia has incorporated the well-known game mechanics into a new, easy-to-carry format. However, the Euphrates & Tigris card game contains enough differences compared to the board game to allow its owners to enjoy this fascinating game again.
