In this festive family game you organize your own Mexican party. You collect dishes for your guests, which you serve on your own table. Some guests have certain wishes, such as the right dipping sauce or the largest number of burritos. Every dish is auctioned. Only if you make the correct bid for the dish can you place it on your table.
Fiesta Mexicana is an original combination of puzzling and bidding. You don't bid with money, but with places on your table. Every place has a different value. The higher the value, the greater the chance that you can serve the current dish on it. But that value is not fixed. By turning your table a quarter turn, all spots have a different value. This way you are constantly trying to get your hands on a dish with the right bid.
Greeting cards from guests indicate where you can earn extra points. For example, some tiles stipulate that you must try to get at least three dishes of the same type in a row. You also get negative points if tiles with dipping sauce do not fit together properly. You must therefore not only ensure that you have enough dishes on the table, but also that the right dishes are in the right places.
