It is the late 18th century, the time of the Industrial Revolution in Scotland. By building the largest seaport, the village of Glasgow has quickly transformed into one of the most important trading cities in Europe.
In this 2-player game your task is to build 20 new buildings to prepare Glasgow for the modern age. Each building earns points and the player with the most points wins the game.

Spelers verplaatsen zich door de stad om grondstoffen te verzamelen, speciale acties te ondernemen en vooral om gebouwen te bouwen. Vóór het spel worden tegels met stadsbewoners erop in een cirkel op tafel gelegd. Deze bewoners bieden grondstoffen als baksteen, staal of geld aan, waarmee gebouwen kunnen worden gebouwd of laten je een speciale actie uitvoeren.

Beide spelers bouwen samen aan één stad. Zodra het zestiende gebouw is opgetrokken, is het spel afgelopen en scoren spelers punten voor wat ze hebben gebouwd. Het is aan de spelers om de tactiek te bepalen waarmee ze de meeste punten denken te scoren.
