Earth digs deep, water flows wide, fire rises high, wind blows free and emptiness slips among the rest. Can you gain the insight you need to discover true elemental wisdom?
A gorinto is a kind of Japanese pagoda of the five elements: earth (cube), water (sphere), fire (pyramid), air (crescent) and void (lotus). In this pagoda you would often find a relic of a Buddha or saint, and together they form the realm of perfect understanding.
In Gorinto, you take turns taking element tiles from the Path (edge of the game board) and moving them to the Mountain (game board). You collect each element according to a unique pattern. With the elements collected each turn, you can collect more elements during subsequent turns and rounds.
At the end of each round you score points based on objectives selected at the start of the game. At the end of the game you also score points for two certain elements. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins. Do you manage to arrive at a perfect understanding?
