Herrlof is a two-person card game set in the Viking Age. Players aim to win the 'herrlof': a sign of honor and victory. Both players receive 15 cards with which they compete for 15 tricks. At the start of each round you predict how many tricks you expect to get. But you do this without your opponent seeing it. This makes it a tactical game, because you want to win exactly the right number of tricks and thus earn bonus points.
An additional element in the game are the special powers that the 1, 3, 6 and 9 have. There are also two special power cards: one to consciously lose and the other to destroy the entire battle. The first to reach 50 points wins the game.
