In this unique potato card game you win by conquering slimy snails, greasy deep fryers and ferocious potato mashers. Hot Potato! is a two to four person card game. In fifteen minutes you will encounter different potato eaters: from a 'furious fryer' to a 'nasty knife' and from a 'slimy slug' to a 'sneaky slicer'. The aim of the game is to achieve your victory tactically: by bullying the others, the Hot Potato! to shoot at another and to protect yourself from attacks. The first to reach 10 points wins the game.
How does the game work?
1) All players place a Potato card face down on the table at the same time. If everyone has one, they are turned face up at the same time.
2) An Encounter card is opened.
3) The Encounter card has a ranking itself, which makes it clear which Potato card is best against this Encounter. The best Potato card wins a point.
4) Everyone else may now use their Potato card effect. These are generally benefits for the next round.
