Witnessing something not meant to be seen, you must escape alive from the dark mob-ruled city of Mantis Falls. You are told that another witness will accompany you, and you must work together to survive the increasingly dangerous roads at night. Your ability to work with another person may be your greatest strength, but what if your partner isn't who they say they are?

By randomly handing out the secret roles, each game can only have witnesses, meaning you all have to survive together to win. Or there could be an assassin secretly hidden among you, subtly manipulating the situation and waiting for the right moment to strike.

Inspired by shadowy film noir worlds, Mantis Falls is a thematic journey where players must continually weigh the value of cooperation against the implicit dangers of trust. Hand management and playing cards face down combines with opportunities for betrayal to create a good mix of strategy, player interaction and suspicion. On each turn, players will make hidden moves and develop hidden plans, but will also engage in in-depth conversations as they discuss tactics, defend choices, and bluff to protect carefully guarded secrets.

Mantis Falls is sometimes a competitive game where you fight against indecision and sacrifice and sometimes it is a cooperative game where you confront doubt and distrust. With care, you can figure out which game you're in before it's too late.
