In Metrolijn you will score points by stopping your metro trains at stops as smartly as possible. Every route for which you manage to cross all the stops earns points. But the number of metros per route is limited! Once you have run your last metro, the points are counted.
This game is not a roll & write, but a flip & write. Each turn a card is turned over, indicating how many stops you have to stop at. Your score sheet shows the metro network of cities such as Berlin, Madrid or Paris. You choose a metro on your score sheet and mark successive stops on this metro line one by one. You stop when you have checked the maximum number of stops for this turn, or when you arrive at a previously checked stop. .
Some cards have special functions. For example, maps with transfer stations let you earn extra bonus points at intersections. The “free travel” card lets you select any stop. With express train tickets you can cross previously marked metro stops. .
Metro Line contains four different score sheets for more variety. You can build metro lines in Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Amsterdam. Metrolijn is both a fun and fast game for up to six people and a challenging puzzle for solo players. .
