An accessible, tactical two-player game. Try to place as many patches as possible on your blanket board. Don't just make sure the patch fits, but also consider the time it takes to fit and the income it generates in buttons. Ultimately, you score points equal to the number of buttons you have minus twice the unbuilt spaces on your board. If you're the first to build a 7 x 7 blanket, you score bonus points! In Patchwork, you don't necessarily take turns. Whoever is behind in time continues until their time marker catches up with the other player. This can lead to interesting dilemmas. Because the patches are always placed in a different order around the board, no two games are the same. The simple rules combined with the tactical challenge make Patchwork fun for everyone!
