Gaining the support of loyal nobles and talented craftsmen, building a beautiful burial chamber and making offerings to the gods are the main tasks set out for you. But the gods are watching you and you will have to do your best to meet their demands. Each of your actions will be judged during the weighing of your heart.
Pharaon is a game that combines resource management and worker placement in one mechanism, thanks to the Wheel of Actions. This is located in the center of the game board, surrounded by 5 areas representing the 5 actions in the game. Each round, the wheel indicates which resource must be spent to access the match action. As the wheel spins at the end of each of the 5 rounds of a segment, these access costs to actions fluctuate throughout the game. As a result, players must plan their actions and anticipate what resources they may need for the next round. But there are a limited number of available spaces on the wheel, meaning you'll have to keep an eye on your opponents, what resources they have and what they're up to.
