We once stood tall and great, but now we must rediscover and rebuild our fallen cities. There are survivors among the ruins – we must take them under our wing and heal them.
To stay ahead of the plague, we must implement new inventions and technologies. Our influence will grow as we rebuild, but the plague will still be lurking, ready to strike when we least expect it. If that happens, it will be difficult to adapt, but we will survive. In addition to acquiring vital resources, it is our duty to control the plague.

Plague is played over 6 rounds. Each round before players take their turn, a Plague card is revealed that shows how the plague will spread that round. On their turn, players can choose from a variety of actions on their player board using a unique action selection system. This includes moving their response team around the board, quarantining and curing infected people, rebuilding, hiring workers, harvesting resources, and much more.
