They have so much stuff across the sea. And that stuff is so much better than yours. They have crowns, tiaras and headdresses, and that's just the essentials. It's time to get some of that stuff. You hoist the sails and head out into the open water!
This expansion of Dominion contains 400 cards with 40 new decks of kingdom cards. Among them are many money and durable cards that give you different types of loot. Events give you extra choice when purchasing cards and properties influence entire decks of kingdom cards.

Please note: Dominion: Plunder is an expansion and can only be played in combination with a standalone version of Dominion.

Who plays Dominion: Loot?
Have you been playing Dominion for a while and would you like to try something new? Then Looting is a good choice. The new cards and rules ensure that you rediscover Dominion all over again! Don't know Dominion yet? Then start with the basic game, because you need it to play this expansion. But of course you can also take the basic game and Loot with you!

How to play Dominion: Loot?
In Dominion you try to put together a deck that ultimately has the most victory points. Each turn you draw cards from your draw pile, with which you play your turn. If your draw pile is empty, you shuffle your discard pile, which contains played and new cards, and use it as a draw pile again. With action cards you can perform various actions and with money cards you can buy new cards. Victory cards don't do anything, so you don't really want them, but ultimately they do determine who wins at the end!

Dominion: Looting introduces 3 new rules. There is a face-down deck of loot cards, of which a player may draw 1 if a kingdom card allows it. From the stack of event cards, players use 0, 1 or 2. These are face up on the table and can be activated instead of buying a card. Finally, the game contains features. You use game 0 or 1 of these cards. You link a property card to a random pile. All cards from that pile have the relevant property for the entire game.

There are now countless extensions of Dominion on the market. Each expansion has its own theme and introduces new kingdom cards, rules, currency and different types of cards. If you need even more variety after playing Dominion: Looting, try another expansion, and then another one... All Dominion products can be combined with each other. You can also play Dominion with six people, but then you need 2 standalone versions of Dominion!
