Squid Inc. was designed by Ivan Turner and Matijos Gebreselassie. In Squid Inc. you play a simple beginner who wants to become the big boss of the company by influencing employees at every level, using them and becoming their superior at all costs in order to grow themselves!
Each round you select a potential employee, with a special skill and a power score. You can use their influence to position the workers and strengthen their ruthless skills, or you can add the worker to your team. Once your employee enters the company, use your team's abilities to arrange promotions for each other or even fire your opponents' employees!
At the end of the game, you get points for the combined influence of your employees in the company, with multipliers depending on how high their place in the company hierarchy is: x1, x3, x5 and even x7 for the top job! But be careful, because once an employee of your team gets there, there will be a world of sharks, octopuses, puffer fish, crabs and more, all hungry for your demise.
