Imperial Assault is a strategic board game with tactical battles and missions for 2-5 players set in the Star Wars universe! The game places players in the middle of the Galactic Civil War between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire following the destruction of the Death Star over Yavin 4.
Imperial Assault consists of two games in 1 box:
– Campaign Game: two to four rebels go into battle against a fellow player who controls the troops of the Galactic Empire. This is a role-playing adventure with multiple missions, where the characters gain experience and become stronger. Based on the Descent game system.
– Tactical skirmish game: Play head-to-head, tactical battles with miniatures and command cards.
Imperial Assault includes a bonus Luke Skywalker Ally Pack and a Darth Vader Villain Pack. These packs offer plastic miniatures and additional campaign and skirmish missions based around Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
