The Dutch East Indies is set in the 18th century. You are in charge of two ships and you have a clear mission: find valuable spices and be the first player to bring them home! But watch out for pirates who will chase your ships into the basement of the sea if you give them the chance. And you can simply trade the spices with the locals, but you can also attack your fellow players and try to steal the spices from them!

Keep Exploring Games is a Dutch board game publisher and founded in 2016 by Martin Looij.
Immediately after its founding, 'Scuba' was successfully funded on Kickstarter, followed a year later by 'The Dutch East Indies'. Both games were designed by Martin himself. In 2018 they released 'Tour Operator'. This game was designed by Nestor Tyr. Also in 2018 they have the three games of the Mask Trilogy in collaboration with Super Meeple; Tikal. Mexica and Cuzco (formerly Java).
In 2019 they have the first expansion for The Dutch East Indies; Adventures on the High Seas published. They also located Old Masters (Colors of Paris) and Mississippi Queen.
In 2022 they came with 5 new games. They have published Sleeping Gods with Tides of Ruin and Dungeons expansions, Bitoku and Luna Capital in Dutch. They also came up with 2 new games: Ice Floes & Foes and Monuments.
