The Kingdom of Dominion

This introductory version of the deckbuilding game Dominion contains 16 kingdom cards (instead of 25) and there are only 8 cards of each suit (instead of 10). Most cards are known from the basic game and Dominion Intrige, but there are also cards from Dominion Prosperity, Dominion Abundance and Dominion The Dark Middle Ages, among others. This way you get to know the simpler cards from Dominion in a playful way and you can then determine whether the 'real' Dominion is something for you. Dominion Starter is also an excellent stepping stone for children who find the basic game and the expansions too difficult. Dominion Starter does not contain reaction cards, durable cards, curse cards or other cards that involve major rule changes or highly confrontational game mechanics.
