This expansion contains 36 legend cards, but because some of them are randomly drawn and determined, players are faced with around 600 different legends. In all legends they search for the mighty star shield, but so does their greatest opponent, the black magician. Furthermore, they face 1 of 6 major threats, such as a siege tower, The Dark Temple or the terrible water monster.
