You start with a generic deck of cards that you use to move around the game board. Your deck consists of a team of boy scouts, travelers and sailors who help you cross different terrains. Along the way you will encounter rushing rivers, dense rainforests and unknown tribes. Combine the playing fields in endless ways to make the game even more exciting and try to beat your opponents by putting together a better deck and navigating the routes the fastest.

To start the expedition, draw 4 cards from the draw pile and play them tactically. You can use the cards to travel through the Amazon or to recruit other team members in the market or buy equipment that you can use again later. You can collect points by overcoming obstacles. If you reach El Dorado at the same time as another player, it is not the fastest who wins, but the bravest expedition leader who has overcome the most obstacles.
