Once again, you can challenge yourself to master the best strategy. It also includes a comprehensive collection of other game components that expand the current set. A true must-have for frequent Root players and collectors.

This expansion requires the base game of Root. Several expansions have also been released for this expansion, and it's recommended to purchase them first. The other expansions add to the game and its mechanics, while Root Marauders focuses primarily on adding more diverse gameplay elements, such as factions and mercenaries. While these add more possibilities, they don't directly expand the game, unlike some other expansions.

Product Description Root: The Marauder Expansion

The Marauder expansion introduces two new factions to the forest – the Lord of the Hundreds and Keepers in Iron – along with four mercenaries and a new format suitable for both casual and competitive play.
Play as the:
Lord of the Hundreds – Suppress the forest and burn it to the ground if necessary. You have no contradiction.
Keepers in Iron – Lead your exiled order of pious knights into battle to recover ancient relics. For glory!
Discover unique strategies and make the forest wilder by adding mercenaries:
Forest Patrol & Feline Physicians – Secure your empire and heal fatal wounds with Marquise elites.
Last Dynasty & Bluebird Nobles – Crush your enemies and prove your legitimacy with the last Eyrie regiment.
Spring Uprising & Rabbit Scouts – Rise up against despots and fight for freedom with Alliance sympathizers.
The Exile & The Bandit – Stalk the woods and steal what you need with these Vagabond mercenaries.
This is an extension. A copy of Root the board game is required to play.
