Standalone version of \u201cCarcassonne\u201d Tropical heat lies over Africa. We move to the African steppe, where everyone is looking for the beloved large African animals. Monkeys swing through the trees, lions rest in their shadows and the heavy steps of elephants shake the land. The ponds attract many different animals, so it is always worthwhile to lurk there. In Carcassonne Safari, players take turns laying land tiles. They discover savannah, forests, animal trails and monkey bread trees. A player can place his meeples on bushes or animal paths, or on a monkey bread tree. Once a grove or animal path has been completed, the players receive points for different animals. At a tree a player receives new animal tokens. With animal tokens a player can improve scoring or create pools of water in the savannah. All this earns points during and at the end of the game. The player with the most points after the final count is the winner.<\/p>\n
