The Meeples three-stage model is the new and innovative model within the board games industry. Through this model we help both large and small publishers market board games throughout Europe. By focusing on three product groups, Meeples is able to organize its range in a broad and fair manner. The aim is to provide every consumer with a board game that suits him/her.
Explanation Three-stage model Meeples
Meeples' three-stage model consists of three product groups, namely: partner products, international products and service products. These three product groups are explained below:
- Partner Products: The main product category within the Meeples group and focuses on both large and small publishers. Our partner products include all our fulfillment customers, our products in agreement and products with a good margin for both retailers and us as wholesaler.
- International products: The product category international products includes the unique products within the meeples group. These are products that are released by Kickstarters, Gamefounds, etc. We are often the only or one of the few suppliers for these games.
- Service products: Finally, we have our service products. This includes the better-known products that we offer for the width, but with which we will never have a competitive price compared to other distributors in Europe.

Advantages of the three-stage model at Meeples

We bring publishers and retailers together through the three-step model. This has advantages for both publishers and retailers.
For the publishers it becomes more accessible to sell their game in multiple stores. This has a positive effect on brand awareness and sales of the game.
For the shopkeepers it becomes more accessible to purchase smaller numbers of games from different publishers. On the one hand, this has the advantage that retailers can more easily expand their range. On the other hand, this allows retailers to enter niches and sell more unique games.
